Building a Future for the destitute Children of Zimbabwe
We think it is important for organisations of all kinds to to recognise their social as well as their commercial and environmental responsibilities. For us, being an ethical brand is about doing everything we possibly can to respond to the desperate plight of orphans in Zimbabwe. For more than 8 years since we discovered this need, we have been working towards a vision of hope, health and prosperity for the orphans of Zimbabwe and wherever possible we act in concert with others - our supportes and partners - who are similarly minded and committed. We also chose to align ourselves with the Ethical Brand initiative because we think transparency and accountability for the consequences, or outcomes associated with our activities is important. We like to hear what people think. Please visit our website and learn more about our work. --Donna Spence
At Vana we are actively listening to and learning from our stakeholders. As a registered charity we are
particularly mindful of our social, environmental and economic responsibilities and our commitment to 'doing the
right thing' is independently monitored and verifiable.
All feedback submitted here is delivered directly to Vana. Feedback is used by Vana to maintain a good understanding of the needs, interests, concerns, experiences and expectations of its stakeholders so that it may assess and wherever necessary improve its performance. All feedback submitted via this channel is also monitored by Ethical Brand (International) and where follow up activity is indicated feedback is also tracked to a conclusive outcome. These activities enable Ethical Brand (International) to independently authenticate the claim of Vana that it is an ethical brand.
